Release it through movement.

Fear does the same thing – as does most any emotion.
A powerful way to release it: MOVE.
Angry? Jump up and down. Fearful? Breathe forcefully. Do some jumping jacks.
Feeling down? Get up. Drop those shoulders. Breathe deep into your belly and take up some space.
