Try something new.

Are you a creature of habit?
Do you drive the same way to the store, or to work every day?
Do you do the same workout?
Eat the same foods?
Think the same thoughts?

BORRRRRINNNNG.

In doing the same thing day in and day out, whether it’s eating the same foods or doing the same run, your body doesn’t have to work as hard after the first few times – it more or less goes on auto-pilot.

“oh look, oatmeal again?! snoooooze.”

Mix it up.
Change the route you walk.
Play with interval training if you run.
Drive a new route to work.
Change the snack that you eat.  Or your breakfast.
It doesn’t have to be a complete over haul, but put something new in there.

Give your body a challenge.
Try something new every damn day.

Move more, not less.
